RCM认证必须由澳大利亚当地公司申请，该公司必须向澳大利亚政府申请一个RCM号码。中国制造商和出口商可以以自己的名义申请IEC或是AS/NZS报告，但报告必须移交给澳大利亚供应商(一般指澳大利亚或新西兰生产产品的制造商、澳大利亚/新西兰进口商或海外制造商的代理商)。如果零售商是产品的直接进口商，或者他们根据自己的品牌销售产品，他们也可能是供应商RCM。

　　澳大利亚的进口商通常专注于销售，许多人不知道如何注册RCM怎么操作，除了做了很多年的进口商，一般进口商哪里知道啊?当然，在中国，澳大利亚的具体操作细节并不多。

　　RCM认证是根据产品类别集成的EMC,Radiocoms/EME/Telecoms四大需求;如果是进入控制清单的高风险产品Level3、加一个EESS数据库注册。所以产品不同，认证要求也不同。

　　From1March2013:

　　>ACMA-registeredsupplierswillbepermittedtocontinuetousetheA-Tickforlabellingofnewitemsuntil29February2016.

　　>ACMA-registeredsuppliershaveuntil29February2016toregisteronthenationaldatabase.

　　>ACMA-registeredsuppliersthathaveregisteredonthenationaldatabasemaylabelwiththeRCM.

　　From1March2016:

　　>AllsuppliersmustusetheRCMasthecompliancelabel.

　　>Itemsfirstsuppliedtothemarketpriorto29February2016thatarelabelledwiththeA-Tickcompliancelabelcancontinuetobesuppliedwiththatlabeluntillabelledstockisexhausted.

　　SomesupplierswillholdauthoritytousetheRCMcompliancemarkbyvirtueofthefactthattheyareregisteredontheElectricalEquipmentSafetySystem(EESS)databaseandhavebeenusingtheRCMtoindicatecompliancewithStateandTerritoryelectricalsafetyrequirements.Irrespectiveofthisauthoritysuppliersmustregisteronthenationaldatabasebeforetheendofthetransitionalperiod.

　　2013年3月1日前获得供应商代码的产品制造商给出了三年过渡期申请RCM认证，从2016年3月1日起，所有供应商必须使用新的RCM符合性标志。

　　在2013年3月1日之后还没有获得供应商编码，首先要做的是registeronthenationaldatabase，然后可以根据RCM认证和使用标志的程序规定。

　　RCM标识不强制指定代码或自愿标记代码，这与原始代码不同C/A-tick标志是有区别的。
